Earlier this week I took my students on a field trip to the Botanic Garden... My parents and little Viva came out to meet us. Cute stuff.

Busy Toddler - the Terribly Curated Blog Post

Hi Everyone! It's been a long time. As usual, we've been busy with work and school and running around keeping up with our little girl. The weather here's been flip-flopping... still not warm yet. Soon!!

Here she is! Looks like we are trespassing on her property. We better get off her land or she'll send the sheriff after us. No wait, she probably is the sheriff.

This was taken by Nicolette Mason, she's a photographer we met at the Brooklyn Botanic. Nicolette stopped us and asked if she could take pics of our little girl... VERY cute.

Oh Boy. Here's another picture we didn't take! We went to our friends' home for a play date!

Little Viva likes shoes. Here she is trying on rainboots. Looks good!

She had a lot of fun at her playdate. She looks like she is about to get herself into trouble in this picture. (Thanks Sujan and Dan for the pics!)

Last week she wasn't feeling so well so we took a sick day and went to the pediatrician. Here we are in the subway. She looks sad, it's probably because I have big hair. She's very sympathetic, this one.

(oh, she's fine by the way, Dr said she was perfect)

Winter's almost over, right?

Hello there!

We love the snow, we do. It's true. But, we're also human... and we are sick of it. And getting sick because of it... well, we had a 48 hour snow bug- we're healthy now. So how do we deal with the cold windy weather? We go to the greenhouses at the Brooklyn Botanic!

Hello! We went to the Children's Museum and here she is practicing her drawing.

Catastrophe averted, found the camera.

We missed the the Snowmageddon that hit NYC while we were in LA... However, last night it snowed a whole bunch. Veev seemed to have had a lot of fun playing it... well, I'm basing this not only on her giggles and smiles but also the fact that she had a tantrum when it was time to stop playing and warm up inside. t.a.n.t.r.u.m. It's cool, we survived.

Our trip to LA was fab! The weather was unbelievable, though everyone kept apologizing for the one rainy morning we had all week. Really, it was fantastic. We had a lot of family time and friends time. Glen and I went out to see two movies, eat sushi, roll around town like teenagers. Viva had a lot of outdoor time... we loved every day we were there. Thanks guys!!
