Hello family and friends! Later today Viva will be going to her 2 month pediatrician visit- we'll see how much she weighs! Glen and I guess- 14-15 pounds... we'll see! It's always exciting to get her weighed! Just this past week I really think her thighs and her arms have become more chubby! I'll take photos of the tubbiness for next weeks post, if I can remember. My memory has been terrible lately! My friends and the internet tell me that post-pregnancy moms tend to lose their memory significantly- hormones and lack of sleep. Yup, I guess it's true!
Sometimes I ask Glen something- he answers- I compute the answer. Minutes later, I'll ask him the same question... talk about annoying, huh? Believe me, I wish I could stop! But my goldfish memory is worth it all when I see the cuteness of my daughter. Man, she's an unstoppable force of beauty.
What's new? Well this week I hung out with my friends Suekhee and Bonnie (they are girlfriends I met from our birthing class back in May/June) and their daughters Minah and Polly. Moira and Lil' Miette came too! Four little newborn girls is a sight to be seen!
My friend Ester and Will (unpictured) came to visit! That was perfect- they came on a very rainy gloomy Saturday and brightened up the room.
What else? Ahhh Glen's new job is going well so far but his dissertation is due in January- so he will be working very hard, very soon. So everybody, please, please think good thoughts for him in the upcoming months... less stress and easy writing!

Oh the bear suit is too much! THe little chubby cheeks in the cute clothes is also fabulous. I am so glad we are keeping up with Viva's growth visually although audibly would be so adorable, too. We hope to see all of you after the dissertation is put to bed. You will need a break from New York winter, so I hope you can come here then. Martin Luther King holiday? President's Day(s)?
