Before we get into the pictures...
This week was pretty b i g!
This week she really is starting to sit up, she started some crawling... and today- Viva laughed for the first time! The past month she had been letting out a hearty "HA!"... short and staccato... but just a few hours ago- our little Viva let out a laugh when I tickled her belly. She constantly makes us melt a little, but this great feat of laughter really warmed my heart. I almost cried.
Last night my (Jane) paternal Halmunee (Grandma) in Seoul passed away. I'd like to think that maybe Viva laughed in honor of her. She was a very kind, loving grandma. A mother of 8 children, humble, and sweet. So here's a giggle for you, Halmunee!

Viva's still a bit of a baldy... but she has enough to borrow her friend Iris' neon green bow. She's in a state of shock- because of the camera's flash, and the fact that the bow clashes with her outfit. Diva.

She's a fan of the cold weather like her momma! Not like her poppa.
Before she was born we bought two items. 1- a children's book that was too sweet to pass up and 2. this hat, also too sweet to pass up. We didn't find out the sex of the baby- so we didn't buy any clothes- but I found this hat in the boy's section- but thought it'd be cute either/or.
She likes her new rug!
Soon she will be streaking through the neighborhood!

Our friends have given us soooo many hand-me-down toys, it's incredible. Oh, and here's a peek at her chubby thigh... teehee.
V's friend, Iris (sitting next to Viva), turned one last Sunday- and had a party! These are the girls hanging out and girl talking.
Viva is now much bigger than her monster buddy!

Thank you for all the photos!! What fun. And to hear about Viva's first full out laugh was great. I am sorry to hear about your grandma's death, Jane. She sounds like a remarkable and wonderful person.
The action photos were very good, but we are still hoping to get video.

Crawling!?!?! I gotta put Lucas in Viva Bootcamp next week! She is gorgeous!
