Look! I'm Growin' !

Pictures to make you giggle!

Hi! Have you been to this restaurant? The service is great.

These puffy snacks, they're the specialty here, melts in your mouth. Goes great with a cold glass of riesling.

Hmmm Let me find you a good one. Here, try this one.
So, what'd ya think? Good, right?

Here I am with pop and Grandma Linda! Like my frock? I match Grandma! She threw me a big fiesta, I was the guest of honor, so coooool!

I love California. I love Grandma!

My Pop and me again! No, really, I LOVE California. I can't stop smiling!

Me and Ma in Malibu. I have never been to a beach before... it's the BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD! No, really, best place in the world. I couldn't stop babbling and flapping my arms and squealing and smiling.

That ocean is so big! And it keeps moving! Have you seen this ocean they call the Pacific? Holy Cow. I love California!

Maybe if I keep smiling, I can convince Pop to move us out to Malibu!
Here they are. My best buds. My parents. They think I'm soooo funny.
I just flew in from Brooklyn, and boy are my arms tired.
tee hee hee...

I am having a quiet moment on Grandma's front lawn. Giraffes are delicious.

What? What did you say?

Hey, listen buddy, stop talking about my chubby thighs.

Hi! Here I am crawling around Uncle Mark and Aunt Sara's house!

Whooooo! Uncle Mark is so strong!

Oh hi! Back on the lawn!

Have I told you how much I LOVE CALIFORNIA?

Hey Ma, guess what! (What Viva?) I love california!

See here? This is a xylophone. One of the only words that start with an X.

Okay, gotta go, see ya soon!

Hi Family and Friends!
These pictures were some highlights of Viva's first trip to LA! She really had such a great time and the week flew! Actually, we did a lot out there- but I forgot to take pictures! Doesn't that always happen? It's for the best really, right? It means we were just having too much fun to think about anything else.

What's new? Well, Viva is finally teething, for real. We thought she was teething a few months back, but nope. This time our drooly daughter is gnawing at all things and if nothing's in reach she's gumming at her tiny lil' fists. And we, her parents, are very sleepy because little Viva this past work week decided to remind us that she is teething, two times a night. Hey, it's okay. This too shall pass. yawwwn.

The weather is great and we've been going to the Botanic Garden and park a couple times a week. The Cherry Blossoms have bloomed and it's gorgeous, pink white and poofy! Viva loves being outside- it's great watching her play with blades of grass and follow the koi fish in the pond. Such a yummy baby.

After a day like today- (we went to MOMA, had a delish lunch, strolled around Central Park, did a little shopping) we are reminded about how wonderful it is to be in NYC. So, despite Viva and our love for California... we're happy here, our city, our home.

If you're reading this blog- wanted to tell you, we miss you and love you!

I chuckled my way through the whole scroll of photos! So cute! I am so glad Viva got to the ocean and that she loved it. She looked mighty happy on Linda's lawn, too.
What a big day you describe in Manhattan. Good for you guys.
It's not too long til I see you in Brooklyn.
Love, Kathy
