We went camping for two nights!
Many, many, many pictures below... light a campfire, grab a beer, and enjoy!

"Hello! this is me in my pack n play- and to my right is the family tent!"

One of the first things V did was pick up acorns. Hunting and gathering. She'll out survive us all.

Lemon picked up sticks for the night time fire.

Have you ever noticed how pointy her ears are?

The baby decided that the cup holder was the best place to store the harvest.

Busy hands, busy minds.

"Whatcha' doin Viva Minnie?"
"132, 133... hold on Ma- I'm counting acorns and rocks... 134, 135, 136...

This kiss made her lose track on her counting... oops!

Pop built a fire!

Lemon on Glen's sleeping bag in the morning.
"Where's my coffee...?"

Viva found out there was a grande no foam skim iced latte one sugar waiting outside for her.
just kidding.

Clearly the most delicious pear being devoured by a most delicious baby.

Happy Camper.

Happy Camper.

Viva is going to cook dinner. First she needs some acorns...

Grab me some fresh herbs.

Gratuitous baby belly shot.

Lake Canopus!

"Pop let's swim some more!"

"Ok, got the leash, where's the dog?"
oh yeah, by the way- don't you LOOOOVE her little pinafore? Aunt Rachel sewed it for her. Yup, it's reversible. Yup, it's the best thing ever. Only the finest robes for our baby. Thanks Rachel!!

Thirsty camper.

She is eating one of the following: acorn, dirt, cheerio or cheese. Your guess is as good as mine.
Extreme Baby Close Up. Baby playing with ice. Cold has never been so cute.

What is the best way to end a camping trip? At a diner of course! Our friend, Rachel, (a different Rachel) lives up where we went camping and she graced us with her most excellent presence for eggs and hashbrowns. Mmmm!
Camping is the best!!

Oh joy! A camping family will always be a happy family, says I. You guys rule!! Your littlest camper loks like an old pro already. Did you swim? Was the temp good? How were the bugs? The cooking? Glen's?
Let's do it at the beach out here next summer.
Yeah! You are so brave! It gives me hope that one day I could take my baby camping...if only it weren't like 20 degrees here all summer.
Did she make you guys acorn frittata for breakfast?
